Introducing iCOPE 2.0
COPE: Centre of Perinatal Excellence is excited to announce the release of the new iCOPE Digital Screening Platform.
Informed by feedback from clinicians, consumers and the latest clinical research, iCOPE 2.0 offers several new and enhanced features and assessments, to support the delivery of best practice in screening, psycho-education, reporting and referral.
Funded by the Commonwealth Government under the Perinatal Mental Health Check Program, iCOPE 2.0 remains free to public
maternity hospitals and child and family health centres in participating jurisdictions.

New improved features for clinicians
New Clinical Dashboard
The simple and easy-to-use interface includes a Clinical Dashboard, that provides instant visibility of screening results across scales and sub scales to alert clinician where further review is recommended.

Traffic light system highlights the presence of specific risk and protective factors to be considered when formulating an assessment and referral.
Enhanced Clinical Guidance for Clinicians
Clinical reporting is enhanced with personalised patient reports, visibility of patient responses across clinical scales and the addition of new clinical advice guides, providing clinicians with tailored advice in accordance with individual outcomes.

Alerts contained throughout the iCOPE 2.0 platform, identify symptoms, risk factors and/or family violence while
highlighting areas requiring review and providing further information and clinical guidance in line with best practice

New Secure Client Portal
iCOPE 2.0 enables clients to create their own account to access questionnaires, patient reports, mental health advice and links to support services – whilst providing improved security to safeguard patient data and unauthorised access.
New features include:
- Enhanced user experience

in 32 languages - Option for clients to download and share their
reports with other healthcare providers - Client access to both antenatal and postnatal
reports providing visibility across perinatal stages

Enhanced Assessment Tools and Patient Information
iCOPE 2.0 facilitates deeper assessment and tailored reporting, across a broader range of population groups – including fathers and non-birthing partners.
New assessment tools:
- Adapted screening tools, reports and advice for fathers, non-birthing partners and those having children via surrogacy or adoption
- Broader mental health assessment and advice –
including psychosocial stressors and inclusion of
neurodiverse conditions - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients now
offered choice between indigenous and general
population screening tools - Patient clinical advice and fact sheets automatically
triggered based on an individual’s screening
responses and outcomes on clinical scales
